The A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at the University of California Riverside’s School of Business is a school on the rise, focused on developing the next generation of business leaders. Build and expand your professional experience at a business school where theory is bridged with practice, values are lived out, and your network spans the globe. In spring 2023, we broke ground on a new 63,400 square foot building, which will add new state-of-the-art classrooms, group study rooms, a graduate student lounge, a large auditorium, and indoor/outdoor event spaces. The new building will open in fall 2024.

The University of California Riverside is located in sunny Southern California, just east of Los Angeles. More than half of the goods that enter into the U.S. come through our ports, making Riverside a nexus for international trade and commerce – the ideal place to pursue a graduate business education. Riverside is also a cost-effective place to live with easy access to international airports and major tourist destinations including beaches, mountains, the desert, Disneyland, Las Vegas, and more. As a result of our unique location, AGSM graduates are landing jobs in California from San Francisco to San Diego as well as in major capitals across the globe.

With an international alumni network of nearly 20,000, UCR Business graduates hold leadership roles at global public and private companies as well as in entrepreneurial ventures across industries including Amazon, Bank of America, Meta, EY, Goldman Sachs, Google, Nike, PepsiCo, Robinhood, PwC, T-Mobile, The Walt Disney Company, and Wells Fargo among others. These alumni actively engage with the school speaking to prospective students and recruiting talent from each year’s graduating cohort.

The STEM-designation of our programs is a significant advantage for students. It signals to employers that our graduates have quantitative skills, and for international students, it awards them the opportunity to work in the U.S. for up to three years after graduation. In addition, our MBA features seven concentrations in in-demand disciplines.

Our graduate students have the opportunity to participate in a summer bootcamp and peer-mentorship program, jump-starting their graduate school experience by preparing them for the rigors of the academic environment. Additional resources help them with skill development, allowing them to earn certificates from Google, Meta, IBM, and others. This provides our students the opportunity to consider the competencies they want to develop early in their program and gives them a better understanding of the courses they will need to build the skills and expertise that will drive their career success.

UCR’s graduate business programs are composed of high potential business leaders. Candidates are evaluated based on academic preparedness, professional experience, leadership capabilities, and overall fit. AGSM offers competitive scholarship packages to domestic and international students based on merit, academic strength, and professional excellence. Teaching assistantships, student employment opportunities, and private and federal loans are also available.
