21 years of history could be easily written, but behind it is a long and successful trajectory marked by innovation, development and quality.

The State University of Milagro, has its origins in the State University of Guayaquil; created in session of the University Council of June 14, 1969, as University Cultural Extension, through the Faculty of Philosophy Letters and Education Sciences. On July 4, 1969, the University Extension of Milagro was officially inaugurated in a solemn session that was attended by Dr. Nicolás Castro Benítez, Rector of the University of Guayaquil.
