University General Info: Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG) is a public and autonomous university system in the Mexican state of Jalisco that combines an international scope and vision with a strong commitment to society.
A tradition of constant innovation and quality has made this university one of Mexico’s leading higher education institutions. Its high school, undergraduate, graduate and research programs are designed to promote culture, sustainable and inclusive social development at local, national and global levels.
This university is a fundamental institution in the formation of human resources and in the production of scientific and technological knowledge, both regionally and nationally, with more tha n 1,642 members of the National System of Researchers, 266 postgraduate programs acknowledged by the National Science Council and 28 undergraduate programs also acknowledged internationally. It has 130 undergraduate educational programs and 233 postgraduate educational programs.
Moreover, 329,641 students are part of the University of Guadalajara, of which, 186,927 are high school students and 142,714 belong to the undergraduate and graduate academic programs offered in our 16 campuses and in the online university system, located in the state of Jalisco.
